You dont.....what you need to do is read up on affiliate programs. For instance, Kmart offers an affiliate program. This means that you join their program and put a banner ad on your site for kmart. If someone clicks the kmart ad and purchases something from kmart you receive a commission from the sales transaction. Affiliate programs can run from 2 cents on the dollar to some higher end programs like credit card applications. Visa for instance will pay you 20 dollars if someone signs up and is accepted through your website.

you have to convince them that you get enough hits to make it worthwhile, that a lot of people will see their ad
