Go to an arts and crafts store and either get a kit to make a mold of her hands, filling in date, love, happy fathers day, etc, or a picture frame kit that your daughter makes and decorates, then put a pic of her and him in it.

First things First.
Fathers day is not meant for wives to give husbands gifts..
same for mothers day..
If your husband has children too young to understand this special day. Help her do someting special, but keep your distance. It's not your place to make this all about whether or not he gets a gift from you, or if mothers day from him to you. Let it be what it was meant to be.
I hate it when a woman gets mad at her husband because she didn't geta freakin mothers day gift from him.. Just plain crazy ! Same goes for fathers day. I don't imagine many fathers pitch a fit over whether or not his wife gives him a fathers day gift. I don't go around calling my wife my mother. If some do , then boy they are really hen pecked.

Sure, I like the other answers, help your child make something for him,, but what he really wants is the afternoon alone with you upstairs in bed.
So,, feed him breakfast,, sumptuous,, give him the card and the gift and about 4 pm take the child to a grandparent or sitter and give him a few hours thank you to make this Fathers Day memorable.........................

How about a t-shirt with her hand prints on it?
Or let her make him breakfast or lunch.
