Here's the thing. If you look at the stat sheet for this season, I'm supposed to pick Dallas mavericks because 5 players average in double figures for this team with Dirk leading the way with 28 a game. On the other hand, if you look at the Heat's line-up, with the exception of Wade and Haslem, this team is a championship team when they were in their prime. Most of this players were franchise players from their old teams so you cannot count their heart out even if they have aged a bit. But like what I said, Miami without Wade and Haslem is already capable of winning a championship, so with them in the mix pretty much sums up my answer. Its the MIAMI HEAT who will emerge as the NBA CHAMPs this year because of this 2 guys. Nobody can guard D.Wade and U. Haslem can make life miserable for Dirk. These 2 things plus Miami's Veterans equals another ring for Shaq and the first ones for GP, Walker, ZO, D Wade and Company.
HEAT in 6 and Dwayne Wade is MVP

Miami! no doubt! history doesn't show any jump shooting team winning the NBA title...shaq can't be stopped and so is Dwayne wade..udonis haslem will limit dirks productivity in the paint,he will try to beat Miami on the outside which is most unlikely to happen... Dallas wont be able to run down shaq as they plan to do coz heat's gonna control the boards on both ends of the court..shaq's gonna dominate ( as he always do in the finals) and will win finals MVP for the fourth time..wade gonna be sensational and will make all his defenders look like grade schools..hungry zo and GP will provide the much needed support of the bench..'toine will shoot the lights out from the 3..j wills will be distributing the ball like he never did before.... and pat riley will work his coaching magic making avery realize that he's not reeady for the big stage yet...maimai's paly will make mark cuban shut his loud mounth out..he can do all his whining which is the only thing his good at...
MIAMI WILL DOMINATE! bet on it!!!! 6 games max...

Miami should win this one. I remember that almost 10 years ago the Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets played the Finals. What a coincidence! FL vs TX. This series will be a dead heat because they both have excellent players. The series should be a 6-gamer. I'm a Floridian and want Miami to take the trophy home to FL. C'MON MIAMI!!

The only way Miami will win is if Nowitzki stops scoring like crazy. The Heat have no one to stop him. Thus the Mavs will win it in 5-6 games.

I not follow basketball, but nonetheless have a favourite team: the New Orleans Oklahoma City Hornets, as their nickname matches that of Watford FC, my favourite football club.
I follow football really closely, and can tell you a lot about Watford, but know nothing about basketball, so do not know whether the New Orleans Oklahoma City Hornets can still win the league this year, or will have to 2007 or whenever.

Miami is the underdog for the Finals. Shaq looks and sounds really confident, and I say that because Riley reminds Shaq a little bit of his father.

dallas (miami) will win in 7 games. avery johnson's emphasis on defense (pat riley's flamboyant spirit) has certainly changed the way the team plays. dirk nowitski (shaq o'neil) will make mincemeats of udonis haslem (eric dampier) in their match-up under the paint, with back-up help from future all-star josh howard and jason terry (all-star dwayne wade and jason williams). ---- take your pick, gentlemen, just fill in the enclosed phrases if your not happy with the main one. it's really anybody's ballgame.

It is going to be a good series. I don't know who will cover Nowitski. So I am going to say Dallas will win in 6 games.
