if you find a snakehead fish, you are supposed to immediately contact the Division of Wildlife and tell them where they are so they can try and get rid of them. They are an illegal import that people dumped in the wild and now they are threatening the ecosystems everywhere...kind of like the zebra mussels in the Great Lakes.

I live in Indiana, and I've known of 2 people to own snakeheads, never knew they were illegal, that's a freak out! I wonder why?
Now I'm going to have to do some investigating!

Nowhere! They are illegal in all 50 states do to the threat they have on our local fisheries, lakes, rivers etc. They will take over a body of water in no time killing any and all other fish.
