It's based on a Korean movie originally titled "Si Wall Ae" or "Siworae" depending on which site you check, but later changed to "IL Mare". It's not based on a book.

i did no longer see the movie however the trailer jogged my memory a brilliant style of the Nick Bantock books approximately Griffin and Sabine from the early ninety's. the 1st 3 are each so often stated as "The Griffin and Sabine Trilogy". those have been the only ones I examine.

Yeah, I'm looking for a book version too. I found a book called the Lake House, but I don't think it's the same story. How about this, if i find anything out you tell me, and if i find anything as well i'll tell you?
