well it doesnt hurt or anything, and it has never bothered me, it was just recently pointed out to me that i have it and now i am worried, but my parents say i have had it there since i was born.It doesnt show unless i turn my head to the right then it shows on th left side of my neck. Its small its like very small....PLEASE HELP

More then likely it is a lymph node. I have them too and my doctor said it isn't a big deal. It may swell or become painful if you have a cold or some kind of bacterial or viral illness. Don't worry, you'll live!

Probably not, since you had it since birth. My husband says you should go to the doctor to have it checked out. It could be anything. He's a doctor.

nah it's not bad. i have one too and it's been there since i was born. it's probably just a lymphnode. that was what mine was. my mom kept taking me to a cancer doctor cuz she thought it was getting bigger but it wasn't. if it starts to jurt or if it really does get bigger then you should go to the doctor but if it doesn't then you are fine.

just have them do a test to see if it's benign. if it is, you don't have to have it removed, but you can. i've had benign lumps before. they removed them just b/c they annoyed me and i was always worried it'd turn into something later. might as well get it checked out. :) it's painless to check.and then you'll know.

well i have one too it's on my right side i've had it since i was young. Is it under the skin and will kinda move? if so its probably nothing

shouldn't be anything serious... but check with a doc... i had a small lump like that... turned out to be a cyst... so, get examined.. better to be safe than sorry..

have you seen a doctor?
i have one too. actually, one on each side. my doctor said its a lymphnode (spelling?). saids its fine as long as they don't show up around my throat or my spine.
