i like the sad stuff, i think.....but love the diva solos also.....show me the way, please

I have a CD called "The Greatest Opera Show on Earth". It has a wide range of arias, choruses, duets, etc. and tells you what shows they're from and who's singing and all that. It's a good starting-off point. Amazon has it - just do a search for "greatest opera show".
My favorite is the Flower Duet from Lakme

IF you like opera i will give you a list of some of the opera artists that i like:

josh groban
il divo
andrea bochelli
Pavarotti
the three tenors
Mario lanza
and there are others too. try Broadway musical soundtracks like the phantom of the opera and Les miserables.
