You won't find any information on Tesla's Death Ray since there are no schematics available and there has always been rumors that the government seized his plans after his death. However, if this were true, I am pretty sure we would be seeing US Soldiers running around in Iraq shooting people with death rays instead of machine guns.

Tesla was greatly interested in high voltage AC and the sparks and arcs it produced. He invented a device that would send oscillating waves into the ground in an attempt to direct the force clean to the other side of the planet but he kept blowing out the power company's transformers and they shut him down.

It has been believed that he found a way to shoot an arc of electricity at a target and this was supposed to have been his death ray. But nothing like it has ever been seen and he himself never produced one.
