Yes. Remember, our emotions don't exist in our frontal lobes which is the only part of the brain that we have that our pets don't. They exist in the other parts of our brains, those same parts that our pets have. Our mammal pets, especially, and they have most of the same hormones and chemicals. SO remember your pets are people too. They get scared you like someone else better, they get jealous of other pets like siblings, they get fearful and bitter and sometimes completely irrational, just like humans.
