Why do men change after they work so damn hard to get us? It's like it's never the same...please tell me this trend will end. my bf is ending it thank god. maybe i should ask him why men are like that hmm.

I relate this to a presidential campaign. Potential boyfriends and presidential hope-fulls are the same, they give big promises and hope to you, but once they take office the campaign is over and you see the real them.

You are right----they do change, and it is usually not for the better. I believe the burden falls on the man during courtship, and they after they have gotten us, the burden falls on the woman. They no longer have to put their best foot forward, because they have you now and they can be themselves. Hopefully, you were astute enough to realize you can never change them, in fact, after marriage their bad points seem to be magnified. After 5 years of marriage, I realize that my husband has a "quick" temper-----It never surfaced while we were dating--2 years. Although he would never do anything to physically harm me, he can be verbally abusive in his emotional outbursts. I struggle with this. I pray about it; being a born-again Christian, I feel God must have brought us together for some reason. Maybe counseling would help. Good Luck to you.

Cause the fun is in the chase and the mystery. Once you see someone on a regular basis and they stop fixing themselves up and tell you all the horrible things about them, it's just less interesting. Women usually start off really cool like "I love sports and I can't wait to drink beer" Next thing you know....you're at the pottery barn on a Saturday night buying new margarita glasses so her heard of friends can moo cow their way over to your house to drink some watered down fruity crap as you think of ways to fake your death.

dear all man are basically primitive when they think that woman is commodity to be possessed or to be won ,so such man may treat woman like that.but woman has more power & due to their basic quality of pure love will make dent in mans persona slowly & if man is positive he will get right signals & will be yours & will think in same way as u think.human mind is very strong * if u r spiritual ,i m sure that such thing will never happen with u.

Because men are genetically built by evolution to impregnate (or try) as many females as possible. Even he doesn't know why he does what he does unless he is really smart and studies science.

they put their best foot forward and after were not "new" turn back into their everyday self. My guy is lazy and inconsiderate,but as soon as I pack...suddenly taking the trash out and paying attention to our daughter is number ! priority, although it only last 2 weeks at a time and goes back till I threaten to leave again...next time...no warning!

its nto a trend god your ignorant. they do it because the only reason they act that way at all is to "woo" you. its liek the odl saying goes. you want your bf to treat you like a wife but you want your husband to treat you like a boyfrined. you expect him to be perfect forever? are you perfect?

becasue we got what we wanted, now that you gave it up your just another notch on the bed post and we can now go back to feast when adn where we want.
