Two people in an apartment with rent up to 1,000 a month, living comfortably with the ability to afford to go out as well as pay the bills and rent. Any estimates?

Any other current debts? Car/student loans? My guess would be between $60,000 - $70,000. It might be on the high end, but I like to live very comfortably. It also gives you the option of buying a new car if you don't already have one, or take a vacation.

Go to this website: http://money.cnn.com/best/bplive/. This gives you comparison lists, i.e., cost of living; how much you need to earn (salary) to live in Alpharetta, GA, crime statistics, education/schools, etc

Hope this helps.

Good luck!
