It is a career for some and I think of it as a job. I am an old bag and this job is not difficult, but it pays well and I can retire very nicely in 7 years on a full pension. I would love to have a different job, but when you're old like me, time literally flies and 7 years will go by so quickly and then I can do as I dang well please! Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise!

I currently have a job, so that I can pay for college, so that I can use my degree to get a career someday.
That's a really good question though, I am curious to see the answers of other Yahoo! Answers users.
Oh, and if you're curious, my job is a men's shoes saleswoman at a high-end department store, and I am going to school to be a military lawyer.

For the last 20 yrs I have worked with people with disabilities in their homes teaching independent living skills. I am very passionate about disability rights and all that goes along with it.
2 yrs ago I started college for accounting. I am hoping to merge the two and do non profit accounting.
I have a career, but with little chance of making good money, but I certainly wouldn't be able to change it. I love my 'career'.

Yes, U can do home based job thru internet as is being done by me. It is data conversion job of converting pdf file into ms word doc. To get this job, one should be resident of India and proficient in ms word.
