It's more of a survival instinct, than a selfish gene. I need to take care of me, because no one else will. No one else cares more about you, than you, and maybe your mom.

You mean like Gene Simmons & Gene Wilder...well yeah I guess they could be selfish.Also,I probably have one or two selfish genes in me...why wouldn't we all?
