the final call always lies with the captain...there must be some reason as to why Pathan was kept on the sidelines...could be the fact that he looked jaded. However, VRV doesnt seem to be the ideal replacement. Its surprising that no one is talking about Agarkar and Bhajji at all....they were the most in form bowlers in the 1 day matches.

i'm sorry it is not phatan but pathan,
it would not have been great if he had been in the match,
he himself is losing his confidence,it was right to leave him, have a break ,refresh himself ,rather making him bowl ,lose his line and lengths further will cost a lot,

I think it was not a bad idea to give a break,
hope he comes back with the BANG.

ALL THINGS HAPPENED AS PER PLANNING.

I DONT THINK PATHAN MIGHT'VE TAKEN THE LAST WICKET.

THE MANAGEMENT WILL USE HIM IN SUITABLE MATCH WHICH IS IDEAL TO HIS BOWLING AND HIS FITNESS.
