I have went to the Doctor's office on several occassions. I was tested for everything, negative. I did have a bacteria infection which was treated which caused me to get a yeast infection but believe me I have went to the doctor on several occassions.

Do you have a discharge? Strong offensive odor? No discharge or odor what about changes in detergent, are you on medication, how could you wait so long with these symptoms and not do something about it! You need to take care of yourself!
If you were previously treated then you need to go back, something is not cleared up maybe the antibiotics weren't effective! Maybe the yeast infection needs to be treated further, only the Doctor knows for sure through testing!

A simple yeast infection will usually clear up before too long. Chronic yeast infections is one of the key symptoms of HIV and this is what leads many women to get tested. (Not saying that's what you have or anything). But even with other STDs usually symptoms will go away after while if not treated. This is why so many people keep spreading infections because the symptoms disappear so they think the problem must have cleared up. Your best advice is to go to the doctor for an exam. You should request a pap test, complete STD panel with cultures, and HIV test to be sure.

yeast infection, or a bacteria infection. I doubt that is a std, because you would have bumps. If you are taking meds that could be the reason. Your body as good and bad bacteria. Meds get rid of the bad, and sometimes the good, which can cause a yeast infection, AND a bacteria infection, maybe even both at the same time!!!

Why don't you ask your doctor or pharmacist about a betadine douche. It has an odd color but it works great. You can do it at home in your shower and it's alot less messy than those nasty creams you get over the counter plus it will make you feel and smell fresh. I know a gyno that recommends it for certain problems, itching is one. If you are drinking alot of tea with sugar or soda, don't. Yeast love sugar, and also make sure you don't wear tight clothes. The tighter your clothes, the less air you get. Yeast likes dark, warm, moist places so get some air. Hope that helps.

Go to a doc. Yeast infections and STDs have many of the same symptoms. You need a pap done and some blood work asap. It will only get worse.

is this a skin problem or a vaginal problem? because if it's not vaginal, you could just have some eczema there. that can happen off and on for years. and it has those symptoms. shaving the specific area helps a lot, staying dry, and using some cream for skin problems (over the counter, you could try the stuff they use for "jock itch" or something just for eczema.)

we need more information. Do you have a discharge. Does it have a color. Does it have a specific smell. Have you had unprotected sex with someone. How old are you. Have you been on any medications in the last 4 months.

I agree it could be either. Go to your doctor and he/she will be able to tell you what you have. I think I would have gone after a week IF I didn't know what the problem was and it had not resolved.
