I would say Iowa is the best state for living in. Even though most people just think we grow corn in Iowa thats not all it has going for itself. The schooling is excellent. The only problem is that once people get a good education they go off to another state and don't help other Iowans. Health is also good, you don't have to worry about tornados very often, hurricanes, or earthquakes. Iowa has many nice cities where its great for raising a family, the cities aren't to big and they are too small. The people are nice and friendly, and it depends where you live for the best security.

Washington State. The rain (which is less than everyone thinks) makes gardening a pleasure.

ive lived there all my life basically i also lived in illinois for 3 yrs but to much violence for me and now im in mississippi but id would have to say new hampshire we rank #1 in heath care and is a very clean state and plus you have the ocean

illinois u have the great suburbs for the family life and the great city... and there are awesome schools and you will always find a job...
