is there a difference between being righteous or just? is it just to be righteous or vice versa? or would grace have better commerce than both in a world such as ours is? and thus being in and of this world can people (or a person) posses these qualities in ernest? i wait, i watch, and i listen. but the world and all i believe cannot reconcile this for me

I believe a righteous person more often to be "Just," and a Just person to be more often righteous, but not always ... even they are human and make mistakes
One can posess such qualities as these, through good works and good will toward humanity and all Creation.
As not every human being, "Knows it all." Humanity can only be truely confident and correct with these attributes, if he or she follow the paths of truth. Truth is found through constructive reasoning, common sence and maybe a little intuition, which are further attributes of the Righteous and the Just. Edudation, experience and learning to serve others before one attempts to lead, are where their skill and cleverness are most often acquired.
The Just are fair, through determination to resolve the right enitial question,- the question that speaks for the big picture of a given situation. The word "Just" implies: justice or judgement. To balance, and bring a reasonable amount of harmony.
The Righteous, are just good people with great intrgrity. Admireable and yet, down to earth.
Me? I'm just a dumb old man.
Blessings

righteousness and being just is not the same to be righteous is to be of high morals without sin but to be just is to me when you judge others bsed on either the law of the land or law of morality the two are not always the same but I think that grace is much better for the most part people judge others based on what they believe without consideration of the person being judged for instance you and I had no predetermination on where we were born what color we were or wether or not our parents were good to us or went to church or delt drugs for a living the only thing in life we have control over is what we choose to do with the life we are givin and we as people would do alot better if we quit worrying about other peoples skin color or religion and treat each other as fellow humans that share the same planet

Righteous is acting in accordance with divine law. Just is acting in a way that is morally upright or good, independent of divinity. Grace has to many meanings to be sure of what you mean but I assume you are referring to having the disposition to act with kindness in which case often can cause more harm than good. Given those three options I choose Justness as I have no authority to interpret divine law.

None.
They're all loaded concepts. Justice is wrapped up in punishment and enforcement, Righteousness in absolutism, Grace in ignorance. They're all violent towards change and accept violence as a necessary force in maintaining society. But we have to un-think force and violence, coercion and propaganda. None of these categories are going to help that happen.

They are all the same. God is one. God is gracious, just and righteous. God grants these gifts to us by faith. This is life, a gift from the Creator.

you cannot, by itself, have mercy and justice also. you must have some median that can take care for the justice, and also have mercy.
In a religious sense, Grace (Christ) takes care of our debts, so justice is paid, and we recieve mercy. We just have to go to Him.
