Guru .... Just asking for suggestions of good books toread this summer. No particular subject mind.

I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb, She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb, any of the Harry Potter books, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, pretty much anything by Dean Koontz....the list goes on....
Oh and my all-time favorite, I don't care if it's a kids book- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams
Yes, I know the movie came out last year but the movie was kinda crappy compared to the book and they had to edit a lot of stuff out to keep it w/in the 2 hrs movie time.
The book actually makes you laugh out loud
there are 5 books in the series, just pick anyone... i've read the first 3 and they're all good... they're short too, well, not too short but not LOTR long... hahaha

Life of Pi by Yann Martel
Easy quick read and an uplifting story.
(I hardly ever finish a book I start and I read this one in 3 days)

the gossip girls series by Cecily Von Ziegesar are really good books to read. my absolute favorite book is twilight, i recommend it to anyone
