I'm a huge fan of anything Stephen King and for x-mas a few year's ago one of my friends got me a pop-up book of the story he wrote called "The girl who loved Tom Gordon". I was so impressed and blown away by it I cried.

When I divorced my childrens father, I forgot to take any pictures with me when we moved out. He refused to give them to me so that I could make copies of them, and he refused to make copies for me. One Christmas, during a family gathering, I received a gift from my mother. She had compiled a photo album. She had copied EVERY photo of my children that she had to date. I was crying so hard I was shaking. In fact, my whole family was crying - aunts, cousins...everybody! To have those photographs brought back all those memories...you know the ones that you think you will remember forever...but never do. This was the best gift - my mom gave me my memories. Thanks mom.

My Aunt took the time to put together a family tree book with pictures and histories of everyone. I've never met that side of the family and it was awesome.
