Why does this interest you, if you are involved in either? It's a serious question, I want to know. Thanks.

I don't anything about either, but have any of you done spells, what is the purpose of a spell? Revenge, some type of cleansing, I don't know what I'm talking about, laugh if you want...just trying to get any idea.

It interests me because it is a very accepting religion. It has very simple laws, i.e, 'anything you do comes back to you x3'. Also, it is a very old religion, with roots going very far back. Wicca tells you to accept others as they are, to accept the religion of others. Wiccans are very respectful of nature, and we worship God/Goddess, though this is not all-inclusive; some Dianic traditions worship only the Goddess. I have been practicing formally as a solitary witch for about 4 years, but have been practicing informally for about 20 years. I'd like to echo what BlueFireWitch said above.....it is not a cult, and we are not all lesbians (though some are, and what of it?) I am happily attached to a man who supports my beliefs.

The purpose of spells is to put thought into action. There are so, so many......cleansing, reflecting, glamories, protection, luck, health, money....it is endless.

If you'd like to know more you can e-mail me; I'd be glad to answer any questions you have, if I can.

pegan religion is the oldest religion it is older then christianity. I was born on all hallows eve, or halloween to some. And I was born with a vail over my face, which is a thin layer of skin, old wives tail says that is the sign of a person with inner sight. I always thought I was a witch when I was a teenager and so I read up on the pegan or wicca religion and it is not evil, it is worshiping the gods of the east west north and south. It is worshiping mother nature and all of nature. It can be used for alot of good. It can also be used for evil also. But any religion can be used that way, you can see that evidence in the cathlic priest that are pedifiles. There is black wicca and white wicca and with any religion the white is the pure light of good. But no I am not a pegan, nor a catholic, or a methodist, I am into spirtuality now... I like to read about all faiths. Dont want to be in a square box of thinking....

Wicca is a good thing. It is very earthy and healthy. It is not evil or devil worship. I studied it for 2 years but I couldn't give up my Christian beliefs. I do like a lot of what they believe.
Spells are never for revenge. You never cause harm to anyone. Any spell you do will come back to you 3 times so you better make it good not bad.

It interests me because I know from personal exeperience that everyone has the power to be more than mundane. We all have magickal and clairvoyant powers. Its seems stupid not to use them.
Also, I know that the idea of absolutes never appealed to me. I started to reject them at six. With Wicca, there is balance in everything. There is no absolutes.

Wicca is about Nature. The balance between opposites that reside in everything. Its not a cult and I am not a lesbian. I'm married to my Wiccan husband.

Its all in the Principles of Wiccan belief

There's a small book called "Simple Wicca" that can give you the basics if you're interested. The question you need to figure out is does it interest you.

I'm psychic so it's one of the religions that embraces my ability. I also like the fact that it's a religion that is based on balance. Males and females gods and goddesses are equal.
