Ironman, because he can fly, super strength, and he has cool gadgets and a sweet suit. Also, he's super smart, on the other hand icemans powers don't come off like ironmans suit so he's never unprotected.

Iron Man.
Iceman can only create ice and generate cold. Iron Man has freaking lasers. I'm pretty sure Iron Man could survive Iceman's cold attacks, since he can fly around in space in his armor (and space is cold as $#!T, right?), but I'm thinking Iceman would have a tough time shaking off blasts from a "laser," considering its destructive power is heat-based. Yeah, guy made out of ice vs. "laser." Iron Man all the way - yay for Martinis!

Ironman because he would just blast Iceman apart

Ironman would be victorious, hands down. His armor gives him a vast array of offensive and defensive abilities, amplifies his strength, and provides him with flight; Iceman lost his powers at the end of Marvel's House of M miniseries last year. Normal man in suit of high tech combat armor vs normal man in street clothes? Sorry, iron trumps cotton every time.

I read in a book where Iceman could create Absolute Zero temperatures, and I doubt even Tony Stark could create something that could function in AZ, so I go with Iceman..besides, Shawn Ashmore sucks a lot LESS than Tom Cruise

I think ironman if he could burst through the ice. Then they'd keep fighting and get hot and tired and Iceman will finally melt.

Iceman. He would rust Ironman's armor instantly. Ironman would stand no chance against him.

Iceman has the power to control water. All water. He has not yet reached his potential, but theoretically, he can travel through the air from water molecule to water molecule. Or freeze the water in someone's brain, killing them. If he chose to, he could easily freeze the air around Iron Mans brain, or freeze his blood and kill Iron MAn in a second. Iron Man could NEVER beat Iceman in a fair fight. He's just a toy soldier.

Iron Man, my friends, is what you call a "one trick pony" He's a normal human in a robot suit. Anyone could do what he does with that suit.

Ask James Rhodes aka Warmachine.

Though Iceman is my favorite of the original X-Men, I would have to give the advantage to Iron Man. Thanks to his suit, he has advantages in speed, strength, & weaponry. Also, Tony Stark has an intelligence advantage over Iceman. The latest incarnation of Iceman does have the advantage of being able to regenerate himself using available water molecules, but unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to rust Iron Man or short his circuits. Meanwhile, the latest incarnation of Iron Man has been subjected to the Extremis virus, allowing Tony Stark to jack into nearby computer & surveillance systems, essentially giving him super senses so he can get a view of his entire battlefield around him, eliminating any chance Iceman might have of getting in a sneak attack. So, ultimately, Iron Man would be victorious. Check out their profiles in the Marvel Universe.
