Try to go to a ticket broker because if you're caught buying a ticket from a scalper (and if he's undercover cop). You will be doing time in jail.

The scalpers job, is to rip people off, and to get the most money possible, for a given ticket. If you want to get the best price possible, from a scalper, you must be extremely careful, and wait until the last minute to but your ticket. A scalper would rather get a little bit for a ticket, than get nothing at all. The best thing to do, is not to deal with scalpers at all, and buy tickets, from the box office. In the long run, this will save you money and aggravation. In many places scalping is against the law, and even buying a ticket from a scalper, can get you in trouble with the law.l

People are saying a scalpers job is to rip you off, but, it is not. Its all about supply and demand. The scalper has the tickets and you do not. You want the tickets so they are going to cost you more than if you bought them at the box office or the gates.

If you have enough time before an event, I would check with Ebay. Ebay has a true model of Supply and Demand where you don't have to take the deal if you think it is too high. Plus on ebay, they have to adhere to the various state laws on ticket gouging such as those in place in Florida and New York in which caps are in place to protect consumers.

just pray he's not an undercover cop and hope you don't get arrested and that way, you won't be ripped off cuz you don't get your money back after buying from a cop and you don't get to see the show either.
