If you have any doubt, read what she says about 9/11 widows in her new book.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, and I have no problem with even extreme conservatives speaking their mind. However, referring to 9/11 widows as "witches" and saying: "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much" is overboard.

Thank You so much for that question. She seems to be pretty damn close to it. Here is this self-loathing bi*ch who claims that these 9/11 widows are using their plight to further their political agenda. However, on 9/13/01, she used the death of her friend and conservative political lawyer, Barbara Gordon, to promote her own agenda and book. Mrs. Gordon was killed in the Pentagon attack. Now, Ann Coulter is brutally criticizing those widows for doing the same. What hypocrisy!!!
What is even more appalling is the silence of the conservative side. Only 2 have spoken out against Ann Coulter: NY Gov. Pataki and Republican Congressman Peter King. The silence of the rest of the conservative's movement has been deafening. Even ex-mayor Guiliani's office has "no comment". Does the ultra-right wing of the conservative movement wish to have this sad, pathetic, self-loathing, spiteful, hateful, poor excuse of a human being to be their spokesperson?
As a side note, have you ever seen her in a debate? She is totally incapable of a civilized debate. If you present a differing opinion, she is quick to get nasty, hit "below the belt", and make it personal. It certainly makes for great press, but it also makes her look like the vile fool that she is.
Only a scumbag like her would say and do such things to promote her interests, but so much more importantly pad her pocketbook.
Our society needs to take Ann Coulter for what she is: a huge frigging joke!

I had no idea who she waas until about ten minutes ago when I read her name on this Q. I just looked the article up and I'm inclined to agree. A couple of points.

She accuses widows of claiming to be the only ones affected by the terrorism; Surely they, aside from the actual victims are the ones primarily affected?

Trying to accuse people of using a spouses death as a means to a political end, is about one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. Besides, has the Bush administration not used their deaths for politics in a pretext to invade Afganistan, and to a lesser extent Iraq? Why is she not attacking that?

I agree with Dave's point. She sounds very much like a media chancer trying to make a name for herself. Remember the saying; no publicity is bad publicity.

She may be an incarnation of satan. I read the article and she was getting pissed because the four women in question said it was Bush's fault that 9/11 wasn't prevented. Umm...duh!! She's basically what happens when conservatives lose their minds, and lose their sense of reason. She sounds pretty judgemental of liberals to me. I think the world wouldn't mourn too much if she were to spontaneously combust and burn out of existance. I know I wouldn't at least.

OMG! Someone else knows!!!! Praise the LAWD! Actually, I think if she and Tucker Carlson had a child, he/she would be the true Anti-Christ.

Seriously, she's not Satan. I think she only believes half of the filth that pours from her mouth, but she gets off on controversy, and the marketing opportunities it presents. But I wish her fifteen minutes would end already, even if her fame is limited to people who pay attention to what's going on.

No, she is not Satan. She is just an outspoken conservative. She has the right to her opinion, even though most do not agree with her.
