i was. ever since i was 4 i can remember liking guys. If a males penis gets erect because he likes a guy or a girl gets aroused because she see's another hot girl, its because they was born that way. homosexuality is not a mental choice like which color pants you want to wear today. Its genetic. People want to believe its a mental choice that is taboo to todays society in america. It is genetic i have seen hundreds of girls naked and have never got a hard on from seeing them. People who are straight that try and answer this question have no idea what they are talking about if they say no. Espacilly if they try and put words in gods mouth about what he said when they dont know a dam thing. People that claim to have evidene that god created all people straight are lunatics. What evidence do they have. A bible written by man with his beliefs and theories in them. Thats why they believe no one is created gay because of mans beliefes put into the bible. And god has not come down and told anyone that all people are born straight so how the hell would they know.

I am not gay so I can't say but I disagree with anyone that will say that a person will choose to be gay. It's something they have inside themselves and growing up they just simply find out that they have an attraction to the same sex. Obviously there are some exceptions... Here's an example ( I saw it on tv ): a man was raped when he was younger by a woman so when he became an adult he felt more comfortable with men.. so that's how it started! They might be born gay but we have no proof of that! Just like heterosexuals... are they born like that, or is it decided while they grow up? who knows.

i believe that people can be born gay and can become gay. Some people have their brains wired that way when they are born, but for others, certain traumatic events like being sexually abused/raped repeatedly can lead to a fear of that certain gender who traumatized them so horribly and eventually take them down that path. That's like the same thing when a boy feels at a young age that he's a girl trapped inside a boy's body. I don't think that anyone chooses to be gay because we all know what the repercussions of being openly gay can lead to, but when you have strong feelings about something like that it's hard not to follow what your heart tells you. And I personally know that it has nothing to do with the lack of "strong role models when they're growing up," because for all intents and purposes, I should be gay then because I had to raise myself, was molested twice, my dad was never really in my life, and my mom was too busy doing drugs and when she wasn't doing that was getting beat up by her boyfriend for 10 years, but I'm not.

no they are not. i know a guy that several years ago he did something that people would say that he is gay. however at this time he is in no way shape or form gay. and anyone that tells you that they are born that way are just trying to get sympathy and they get none from me because i know for a fact that it is a personal choice to be gay or not. anyone saying that it is not a choice is just trying to place the blame elsewhere and they are failing in my eyes. however in the eyes of society they are successful because it is teaching that the way people are is to be accepted and left alone. i am going to stop here because i have allready made enough people mad lets not bring the Bible into this

This is a very controversial question!!! If your asking me what my opinion is than I would say "Yes" I think that most, not all, but most are! I know a girl that since the age of six years old has dressed, played, acted, and lived like a boy. Now I'm not saying that she is homosexual, but if she turns out to be, I will never again question weather or not people are born with a predetermined sexual oriantation!
I cant see a God that would turn anyone away from the gates of heaven just because of who they fell in love with!! That is a God that I will not believe in! My God loves everyone of his children!! No matter who they choose to spend their lives with!

No, a person is not born gay. As the person comes of age, he or she has the choice whether or not he or she wants to be gay. Nobody is genetically gay, but everybody has that choice to make for themselves.

No, sexuality is a choice we make. God created people to desire the opposite sex. However, because we live in a fallen world now, some choose perversion.

The good news is, there is hope. For those who are experiencing homosexual tendancies, all it takes is a simple prayer of repentance to Christ and true desire in one's heart to turn from their immoral choices.

People who state that homosexuality is genetic have absolutely no scientific basis for their assertions, only theories which have never been able to be seen through to logical and proven conclusions. They cling to this flawed theory to make excuses for their immoral choices. They have no personal responsibility.

Some researchers say that gay people have hormone deficiencies. if you believe that then yes. If you ask any gay person, they have no choice. People that say gays choose to be gay are ignorant and most likely homophobic.

It seems so based on the current body of evidence, but environment is still a factor. Sexuality is a tricky thing, it's a lot like tollerance...some people just are.

No. They become gay because they do not have good male/female role models growing up and they confuse the genders' roles.
