i want to have a pet lobster how do i feed and keep it? what kind of tank do i need?

You need a saltwater tank with a lid, because they can crawl out.
Lobsters eat small fish and plants. So stock your tank with inexpensive small saltwater fish and lots of plants You can even purchase HBH Crab and Lobster Bites (lobster food) at the pet store or on-line.
The grocery store lobsters may be too large to start off as a pet. They have been starved of course, so if you choose a grocery store lobster, and it dies, it was not your fault!

You need a saltwater tank I suppose thats clean and clear. You feed it these lobster pellets where you can get at petco or whatever. I dont think "farm" was the best choice of words for some reason though!

Tie him to a tractor.... seriously, lobsters and crabs make really lame pets.... seriously....
but a 30 gallon salt water tank setup will be sufficient and lobsters eat practically any meat you put in the tank -fish, chicken, etc . Just make sure you get a protein skimmer for the tank or you'll foul up the water and eventually kill your lobster.

Try going into your local grocery store and checking out their system for lobsters. And if your tank doesnt work you'll always have dinner.

It's tough to make them farm. They really don't like working the land. They prefer desk jobs.
