I need to expand my music collection. I love hard rock from the 70's - 90's. What are some current bands that rock. No top 40 pop stuff either.

The Raconteurs seem to be the lateset and greatest. You should check out Little Steven's Underground Garage radio show. He plays lots of new rockin' bands... and old ones as well.

too numerous to list and depends on style, pick up a name of a group and research it and follow links from sites here's a style to research "Nickleback" if I've misspelled the name a search engine should ask "did you mean...?" Also check out common tours with other groups and opening bands for upcoming groups. good luck and enjoy your endeavor

i'm right their with you has far has music and personally i don't like any of today's bands too much........their really isn't a great band of today like their was back then. however i just found a band out of finland that i like........lol they would give kiss a run for their money the name of the band is Lordi........
