If your congressman voted what the people wanted him to vote, then it would not matter what party he was from. If your congressman voted yes every time a republican issue came up an he was republican you have been cheated.

Our House of Representative is Randy Kuhl and he has voted for everything the Republicans have brought up. He is a real independent thinker - not. We can only hope he gets defeated in Nov.
They have moved the districts lines in our state so much that most districts aren't competitive. I hope that changes this year.
Louise Slaughter is and has been a great representative and she really listens to the people in her district.
I have liked most of what Hilary Clinton and Chuck Schumer have done except for the votes on the immigration bill and the Supreme Court appointees.

All my representatives are Democratic. I live in the 15th district in Michigan. One of my representatives (John Dingell) is very good at really thinking about an issue and taking it to heart. Another of my representatives (Debbie Stabenow) is very good at only voting for Democratic issues and earmarking every bill. My last representative (Carl Levin) really likes to argue with the Republicans on their appointments and legislation. Sometimes, he is the voice of reason, and other times he goes too far.

ANWR PASSES; KINGSTON VOTES TO REDUCE DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL
Bill Would Expand Domestic Energy Supply And Reduce Dependence On Foreign Oil
Washington, May 25 -
Today, U.S. Rep. Jack Kingston, R-GA, the vice-chairman of the House Republican Conference, took action to address high oil prices by voting for H.R. 5429, The America-Made Energy and Good Jobs Act.
This legislation authorizes oil and gas production in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and offers the opportunity to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by expanding our domestic energy supply while at the same time stimulating our economy and creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs.
“President Bush has said that we are addicted to oil and he is 100 percent right,” Kingston said. “Our dependence on foreign oil threatens our national security and distorts global diplomacy. It is not in America’s interest to remain dependent on leaders like Venezuelan President Chavez and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.”
“This legislation is a good step towards achieving that oil independence. It’s too bad Democrats who have spent years voting against drilling in ANWR, have refused to take that step with us,” Kingston concluded.
