What do think it would be like right now if everything in the wrestling world was the other way around? WCW took over the WWE? What would happened?

ok maybe I was not clear with myself. I mean just imagine if somehow WCW took over WWE instead of WWE taking over WCW.

WCW almost did take over WWE. Had it not been for Steve Austin.... The then WWF probably would not had finished 1998. You can even look further into it and say had it not been for Jake Roberts, PRETENDING to be a born again christian, and praising John 3:16, then Steve Austin would had never came up with Austin 3:16 and began raising hell. As far as the real question goes..... the same thing probably would had happened. At the time WCW was hot and the WWF was not, Eric Bischoff's ego was equivalent to Vince McMahon's. Bischoff would had buried all the talent just like McMahon did. Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker and anyone else who was a big name WWF star at the time would had lost to the top WCW guys at the time.... Hogan, Hall, Nash, Savage, etc. WCW was always poorly run. WWE started being poorly run just recently ago. Vince McMahon got old. He defeated the other wrestling company when nobody thought he had a chance in hell and he totally blew them away! So, his ego has multiplied all over the place and he basically handed the direction of the company to his daughter, who obviously does not have the same mind of the wrestling business as her father. The only chance we ever have of seeing the "old" Vince McMahon again is for TNA or some other wrestling company to do something big and become a threat to WWE. Much like WCW did when they signed Hulk Hogan and created the nWo. Vince McMahon will not use his full genius unless he is threatened and nobody can touch Vince McMahon in the world of competetion. What can TNA do you ask? Well, they either need to do something that has never been done before (which is a very small list of things) or they need to offer somebody a lot of money to come in like the Rock or Steve Austin. Its there only chance because I just don't see TNA ever creating a mainstream star. Actually, nobody has ever created a mainstream star in the world of wrestling other than Vince McMahon. Mainstream stars in the wrestling business are stars who non wrestling fans know. Like Hogan, Rock, Austin and Andre the Giant. A non wrestling fan had never heard of those 4 before Vince got hold of them. And I seem to have slithered away from the question but in a nut shell...... About the same thing would had happened.

Well, before I started watching WWE, I was watching WCW and when I look back I noticed that a LOT of the superstars that are in the WWE today came from WCW last. So if it were the other way around, I think that the only changes would be better storylines and a different name because you might still have Goldberg, Sting, Kevin Nash, Macho Man, DDP, and all those guys who may be considered legends soon because they had to stop wrestling for a while until TNA came on TV.

Wrestling would be a LOT more interesting. WCW didn't start going sour until they started emulating WWE. Maybe if they had stuck to their guns & not been influenced by jokes like Vince Russo & Vince McMahon, we'd have a 2-hour wrestling program with a decent amount of matches & some decent matchups instead of the soap opera B.S., the blasphemy & perversion, & overall tripe that the McMahon family spews forth on TV. I hope TNA becomes the new gold standard, because already, you get more matches per hour with more interesting matchups than you do with WWE.

One thing's for sure: I don't think they would have treated the WWE wrestlers nearly as shabbily as Vince treated the WCW wrestlers. The invasion itself would have been better, but the overall storylines afterward wouldn't have been as good. Steve Austin would probably have got the chance to wrestle Goldberg but the match would have been awful and probably broken up by the nWo. Whether or not wrestling would survive or flourish is undetermined.
