There is some slang I can't believe people use or that anyone has thought of. One of the stupidest things I've ever heard anyone say was "chillax."

Yeah, that line by technique of no means made any adventure to me! additionally, each and each factor that comes out of Lil' Wayne's mouth. I propose, have you ever made any adventure out of his lyrics?? And the 1st answer precise too. And to characteristic that girls do no longer say shawty the two XD relatively in the event that they are white (no longer attempting to be racist, yet heavily...)

I wish I didn't use the work "like" so much. It's not totall offensive to my ears, but I do feel it lessens the effectiveness of my speaking - it is so engrained in me that I have to consciously attempt to avoid using it in some situations (as in an interview).

Some random guy called me on it a few weeks ago. I'm not a kid - the "like" trend has definately crossed the generation barriers...A friend and I were at BJ's stocking up for a cookout and we were talking excitedly. The man in front of us in the check-out line said "You know, you REALLY need to stop using "like" - b/c you both just said it." That annoyed me - shut up, guy, who are you? The spoken-word-police?

As obnoxious as that was, he is right! So I'm going to stop saying "like" in like a minute.

Oh an person below me - it's called BOSTON. I can't speak for the rest of NEW England - but I know for a fact that "wicked" is used in the Massachusetts area. And you can shove it. Thanks.

they use cockney rhyming slang in London. Whilst this sounds great from a cockney, a Scottish eminem wannabe saying he gave someone a Mars Bar (a scar) is just lame, as happened to me on a drunken night out chatting to a local yobbo.

"For shizzle" is one I am not so found of. Why not just say 'for sure' (but again...that leads into slang from the 80s...:) A viscious cycle......
