try getting her a place with soft hay, a small dog house or something along those lines. i have a rabbit as well and she likes to do that too, if you get her something that she will think is a nest she might not dig so much.

It's a rabbit's instinct to dig. If you are really worried about her getting out you may have to bury thick wired, small-hole fencing under the ground. We had to do something like that with our beagles to keep them from digging out back when my family had beagles. The other two options would be to put her in a hutch or house train her.

I have the same problem except my rabbits actually escape which is really worrying. The only thing I do that might help is shout at them when I see them doing it because they can learn in the same way as dogs and they understand your tone of voice so it teaches them that it's wrong. Also getting another rabbit might help as she may be bored and lonely.

Bunnies burrow into the ground and she will eventually dig her way out. It is instinct to dig. My bunny runs loose here on the farm but she is starting to eat the new flowers . They need excercise so you may want to get her a toy or piece of wood to chew. When bunnies nest they pull hair out off their bellies and actually make nests. There isnt many ways to get them to stop. good luck

I think you should buy or make her a hutch so that she's more secure. Alternately, you should bring her inside and make her an indoors bunny. If she's free in the garden constantly, she's also not very safe - because she's at risk of being attacked by predators like birds of prey, owls, cats, foxes. Also, if you keep your bunn indoors with you, she'll really become attached to you. Anyway, have a read of these sites' recommendations for cage sizes and security -

I had a rabbit but he died, so i know rabbits can be sneaky sometimes-lol- it retarded but true, thats why i named my bunny Emperor of Doom-lol all i can say is that you should try bringing the rabbit to the spot she digs and pat her on her head and say "this is no." or "bad!" lol it works sometimes and its funny.

try to make your parents understand by telling them why they do it and why its' important for the bunny. I had one that also kept on digging holes, but when I told my parents about it and showed them information, they understood. Just look for info that will tell you why.( u can't stop them from digging holes.)
