I'm a substitute teacher. I filled in for a 4th grade teacher who had a section of CDs sitting on top of a cabinet. Being curious, I took a look, noticing that two were prominently displayed as if to grab attention. the SECOND one was Matisyahu's "Youth" CD. Being an opportunist, I got a cassette from my 'work' bag and taped the CD using the player in the classroom during lunch. Played it on the way home, and tripped out! How's his 'Live At Stubb's' first CD on an independent label?

I saw him a couple of weeks ago at an outdoor festival. The weather had been pretty sketchy thunder clouds were building up and all. Then he started talking about getting second chances in life, just then a huge rainbow covered the amphitheater and the sky cleared up. I thought it was neat because he seems to be a spiritual person, an the rainbow has significance in the bible for God giving the world a second chance after the flood. I like happy accidents like that. They played an amazing set. Hes a cutie pie, kosher cutie pie that is.
