Most youths (whether they be male or female), masturbate. For most it is a healthy exporation of their sexuality and has no "unhealthy" aspects.
However, frequency of masturbation could lead to a problem if it becomes an obsession. If a youth is masturbating more than twice a day, this could be considered excessive and could cause not only psychological problems but also physiological ones too.
What should not be done is to condemn someone for doing something that vitually all of us have done, and probably still do. There is nothing shameful about it, nothing wrong and youths should be told this. Some of them probably think they are the only ones in the whole world who do this. They are probably guilt ridden and will only feel happier, and in some cases relieved, if they learn the truth.

to ask the ? you must be experiencing some urges as for me i started very young i think if i can remember i was about 13 and boy was it fun and it also keep me from having sex at an early age it was fun secret and very safe i think you should go for it i think everyone should explore and get to know their bodies so when you are ready for the real thing your gonna know what you like and what you don't so do you and enjoy your self and always be safe in anything you do sexually
