Your weight gain isn't all that bad actually, considering that most doctors recommend that you gain between 11 and 13 kilos whilst pregnant. A couple of extra kilos won't matter too much. I think you should eat the same size portions as you have done before, just try to make sure that what you are eating is healthy and not just empty calories.

I doubt your weight gain will have too much influence on your chances of a normal delivery.

I'm going to provide you with the link to a pregnancy and parenting forum that I think you might like to join. It's full of supportive women with boundless knowledge about these issues. I learnt so much there that I doubt I would have learnt otherwise.

I think that you should go for walks, eat less, and be more concerned about the baby then your size. Why would you have a CS? they dont do those because you gained too much weight. you will have a normal delivery unless there are problems

Don't PANIC!! I just delivered about 8 weeks ago. I was HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. My baby was 10 and a half pounds, and after i had her I dropped 40 pounds in one week. The doctor said I was full of water.

Try and keep yourself busy doing things. Don't eat salt, that retains water. Drink 8 glasses of water. Pregnant moms tend to dehydrate more. The water will help you feel fuller, and will help to keep you and the baby healthy

Buy a blender and blend ice with your favorite fruits, or drinks. Watch which types of sugarfee substitutes you use. I stayed away from Sacharin, and Nutra-Sweet. You will feel fuller.

Try substituting heavy dinners for a nice big bowl of lowfat cereal, with non-fat milk. It has lots of vitimans.

Ask your doctor for a meal plan.

Don't punish yourself if you go off your meal plan. Start with a clean slate each day. Try and go for a walk after meals.

PS> I am on my third child. All of them were C-sections. You can not tell I had a C-section, as the scar is on my bikini line. Ask your doctor about it.

thats better than not gaining any weight I am 7 months and I have only gained like 2 lbs, weight gain is not an indication of a ceserean, I had a cesearean with my first daughterand I gained about 24 lbs with her, which I believe is normal. A ceserean is not that bad to me, I am having another one on Aug 18

Try not to worry too much, if your doctors say that your blood pressure is good, then you should be ok. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I gained 50 lbs and two months after I had her, I was 5lbs lighter then when I got pregnant. It could be that you are going to have a big baby, or it could just be extra water weight. Good luck.

i gained so much wieght while pregnant because eating made my nausea go away. ask you doctor for a daily dieytary plan, to help you go by. also ask the doctor for an exercise plan, you gotta know what you're doing when you exercise pregnant.whatever you gain can be worked off after you have your baby. did you say you are scared of c-section?

you know what, i wouldnt worry about it, i mean you are growing a baby
i actually dont know how much 11 kilos is....but i think if doc wants you to slow down a bit then just try walking or something like that ,it will give you a good start with loosing the weight after anyway
also just try sancking on frits and veggies and not junk foods, its a healthy habit to start as well

Go to a good nutriologist who will help you balance your diet while keeping realistic about your pregnancy (meaning a nutriologist could plan you a diet where you can eat a lot, keep yourself and the baby healthy and stay in good shape for the delivery)

I agree, healthier food choices, less sugar. Don't drink soda, eat candy, etc. or in very little amounts....those foods don't do anything for the baby anyway. Eat smaller meals throughout the day, you will stay full and actually eat less...do a food journal to keep track of what you are eating.
