I will be on the road and traveling for a couple of days. I would like to know which books I can get on tape or cd.
I need recommendations nothing horrifying but I would like some suspense.
What have you listened to or what do you like?

Try looking at audible.com. They have a huge amount of audiobooks.
One good title to look at is "Redwall" by Brian Jacques (sorry if I have the wrong spelling)

If you're looking for a tape or cd, then I would say get some comedian for the road. They're entertaining and will keep you occupied for a decent length of time. If you're simply looking for suspense, then I guess some old Western story...I will update when I find out what exactly they are called.

Ive tried those book on tape on the road and they seemed to make me sleepy.....I'm leaving in a few days and I plan to listen to the most obnoxious music in my car ( my younger brother will see to that as well) Be safe and enjoy....

Have you tried Romance/Mystery books thoughs are good to read.
Heres a really good author Sharon Sala and some of here really good books
Darkwater, Snowfall, and more hope this helps

Down in the Darkness by Dean Koontz. This one is a good listener.

get the book A Painted House by John Grisham it is definitely suspenseful and a great book

try anything by nora roberts she is a great author and has romance and suspense in her novels and there are a bunch of them on tape and cd's. her jd robb novels are great too.

Memoirs of a Geisha!!! It'll take you to a whole other world!!! It's quite amazing, I must say.
