It is definitely NOT recommended for anyone to download their C-Drive files (especially those in the Windows folder) to your floppy disks as first off, many of those programs are mandatory for proper function of windows, and secondly a floppy disk is only 1.4MB, so how many Mbs are your planning to save?
To fix your low disk space problem, first ask yourself how big is your HD, how much your Windows folder is taking up (aka how much storage is Windows taking up, if it is more than half, change your operating system or get a new HD).
Next, go to your program file folder and click arrange items by size (from big to small). Now start scrolling down and ask yourself: "Do I really need this program?". If the answer is no and you know what the program does, go to add/remove programs and delete it.
Finally, you should delete all of the clutter your PC builds up over time. A good program to do this (if you dont want to waste an hour looking for all the .tmps and cookies n temps), you can install the free CCleaner program that deletes all of your useless items and optimize your system. You can find the CCleaner at www.pcworld.com/52516. This program will also optimize your system for perfomance.

Yes, but with the small amount a single floppy holds, you would probably need a couple hundred floppies to move enough to make any difference. If you have a CD burner on the computer, you should download files to CDs instead as 1 CD holds the same as about 500 floppies.
Need to delete anything you don't need and remove any unwanted programs.

A floppy disk doesn't hold enough to make a difference. You need to start deleting anything you don't need.

Click on My Computer. Right click on Local disk C:... and go to "properties"...You will see a button lower right under the pie chart that says "disk cleanup"..click on that and let it do its work.
Hope that helps.
