How would they ever know that they knew it? Remember the adage about "from the mouths of babes"? The reason that works is that someone of merit listened and shaped what was said into something meaningful- they separated the wheat from the chaff. And to do the winnowing is the trick. And that takes above average knowledge to start with.

What? I am an above average and I don't get this question.

I think above average knowledge is sought after by below average people but if they are exposed to it they get frusterated because they don't get it.
