Depends on how well you can dry it. My husband dropped his in the river, when we were fishing, and we couldnt get to it for like an hour...when we finally did, the lights were staying on, and he figured it was done for. I took it home, and took it apart, and layed it over the heater register, and the next morning called him with it, he couldnt believe it.. but beware, it only lasted about a year after that.

Remove the battery and dont put it in for about 2 days.And then check. But i dont think ur cell will work as it was in water for pretty long.

If you want it to work again do NOT put any heat on it!!!!!!!!! NO BLOW DRYER OR OVEN OR ANYTHING!!! Put it in the fridge, open, and leave it there. Now call your cell phone company ASAP. I hope it does work again for you! Good Luck!!!

let it dry out for a few days. My daughter dropped hers in the toilet. It was crappy for a while, but the more I used the hair dryer on it, the better it worked.

i had a cell phone go ker plunk in the toilet once..........yes i did fish it out. didn't work right away i took a blow dryer to it and also let it air out in the sun. don't use a blow dryer for too long something might go wrong. but it worked for me...........ps isn't it great you can come to yahoo answers and get different answers. one says don't' use a blow dryer someone else says yes you can use a blow dryer..............lol don't go nuts, ok?

mine fell in orange juice and it got all sticky from the sugar... at least your phone will be squeaky clean
