The calendar year repeats every 28 years. This year's calendar (2006) is the same as the one for 1978, and for 1950, and so forth. Collect calendars for the next 28 years, and then you'll never have to buy one ever again.

It repeats itself every 7 years because there are 7 days in a week, therefore this same date (June 6th) will be on the same day in 7 years from today.
