By taking action. Go to football team and get some experience. There has been girls that played before. There is a reason they say football is a man's sport because majority men play it. I've known coaches that have allowed girls to play on there team. It's not about the sex, its about winning or losing football games. And if you do become a coach you have to make playoffs and win championships to get respect. I'm sorry that may sound sexist but in football, if you become coach, your opponent will try to destroy you.

Well the cards are definitely stacked against you. The stereotype that girls can't coach in the NFL is driven behind the fact that most coaches have first hand experience with the game. They've played it for years and there are some things that you can only learn through actual experience. But maybe you can set a precedent.
Good luck to you!

your dumb answer mi question In a nut shell i sent a stupid email to classmates in a class that i was planning to attend this summer. It said I would do peoples's quizes for money. I NEVER ACTUALLY DID IT. All they've got is this email saying I would. I've talked to a few people about it including my english proff and they all seem to think that because I didnt do it, they cant expell me for it and that the meeting is going to be a real talk about it. My Eng proffesor said i should use the defense that this was nothing more than a sarcastic joke. To say its the kind of thing that students say when the proffesor is not around. That I thought it would be cool to be shocking and describe how i would "game the system. He compared it to someone being in line at the airport and someone saying "They must think were gonna blow up this plane. Like grandma over there is really carrying an IED in her oxygen tank": I dont know though. I mean if it isnot just a talk, there going to give me three days to enter a plea of guilty or not. If i plea guilty (OF WHAT!!!?) they impose sancitions that day, if not guilty then i go to like a trial kind of thing where evidence is presented before a committee and a decision is made. The thing is, I think that even if they dont have anything on me, they are probally going to try to make me plea out. I'm not guilty of cheating, I've never even had a day in that class so how could i have done it? I've been posting like crazy on here, and everyone seems to think that they are going to burn me for this. This is like the "Minority Report". How can they get me for something that I never did. Especially to impose such serious sanctions based solely on an email? The thing is I didn't get a call from the VP. (I don't know if that is procedure or not) I just got an E-mail from the DEAN of Math and Science. saying I need to make an apointment immediately. So I made the apointment and the secretary was trying to not make the appointment interfere with my final exams this week. Does that mean, that they in fact are not trying to kick me out. She told me where to meet but not who would be there. So I looked up the room number under the school's database and found that it is the office of the District VP. That scares me because now it sounds like they are taking this to the next level. If they are following the procedures, right now the VP has already determined merit in the charges against me. That means that they are going to just hand me a paper saying they need to see me ( TO PLEA GUILTY) Should I succome to pressure if they want a guilty plea or should I take this all the way. Now let me tell you this, If they say "your expelled, now sign here" . I'm not doing it I'm a take it all the way. But what I think they are going to do, is keep the consequences witheld untill they get what they want. I dont think they have grounds for expulsion but i havent had an wince of sleep since i got the initial email on the 28th. Can someone tell me something? TUESDAY IS IT! I'm scared , should i plea guilty or not. I mean i know im not really guilty of cheating but could they get me on a technical?

How old are you. If you are about five, tell them that by the time you're old enough to be foot ball coach, the game will be changing so much that all the coaches are girls and the sexist person answering you might well be gone!!

say you like a challenge and will be a pioneer.
start now. volunteer to assistant coach pop warner or other community football program. write to coaches you admire and ask their advice. (I'm assuming you mean American football, not the football Americans refer to as soccer.)
here's a link to an article on female coaches. don't let it discourage you...just think how much sweeter victory will be when you know you're creating opportunity for more women.

You can do anything! All I'd say is 'Prove it.' and walk away. There is no rule saying girls can't be football coaches.

You can do anything you put your mind to. If that's what you really want to do, then learn the game and do it! Don't worry about what others have to say about it - put your energy into the game instead of how to respond to sexist naysayers.
