Baby name problems?

Okay my fiance wants to name our son after him and his father his name would be:
Larry Gene Bailey III
Do you think this is a good name?
I would much rather name the baby
Kahalil Moses Bailey
How do I get him to see my side or should I just let him have his way.

I think the father's name is a perfectly good name, and it will create a nice bond between father and son (not to mention your child's grandfather). If it makes your husband happy, why not give in on this one? The fact that you're even asking the question suggests to me that you're flexible about this, and willing to compromise.

Honestly the name is terrible. Larry Gene is not a great name for a baby these days. It sounds like a grandfather's name. I guarantee your son will get picked on. Don't back down. the baby's name is your choice too.

I think you two should be able to come to a comprimise, and use portions of each other's name choices. That way, you both are getting a little and giving a little.

That would depend, Kahalil isn't a very popular name, he could be made fun of. Unless your in a community where thats acceptable. They are both really cute names, but you have to think of the future for the child.
