It is being released by Warner Independent Pictures, which means it may only play at art house type theaters.
It is only scheduled for limited release on July 7, which happens to be the same day Pirates of the Caribbean 2 comes out, so if they don't change the date, it will be highly over shadowed.
I have been looking forward to this movie for a long time, Rory Cochrane left CSI Miami and this is supposed to be his first role since.

The movie was supposed to come out a while ago but the release date kept getting pushed back. Like someone said earlier, it opens the weekend of the new Pirates, so I bet the studio is concentrating on less traditional advertising/marketing to get the word out to the right crowd. Trailers are playing in art house theaters. Hopefully it'll do really well in select places that first weekend and expand wider. I will be there the first day, I loved Waking Life.

I've actually seen the preview for it in theatres here in Montreal, and a few commercials on tv. It looks like really interesting!
