Here is a small program that will tell you everything product keys hardware software all. After you download and run it print out the results and save.

usually you can check by doing this...
go to open the control panel and then click on system...then check hardware and then click on device managers and it will bring up a list of all the hardware on your pc the motherboard will be there usually right under your processor listing...hope this helps.

CPU-Z, freeware, http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php it will tell you what kind of motherboard you have under the Mainboard tab. Just download, extract it and run it.
