its probably not the diaper, but the way you are putting it on as I have been using Huggies for years and now that my daughter is toilet trainned and only in a diaper at night i find that they work best out of any nappy.

it is important that the diaper is not only big enough but that you put it on snug and in the centre. check that the absorbent part of the diaper is in the centre of your baby's bottom and that the leg elastics are snug and pulled out.

also, be sure to change the diaper regularly...they can only hold so much...

there is not really a huge difference in the leading brands of diapers (you really do get what you pay for) but if your baby is in diapers all the time a money saving suggestion is using the store brand of diaper during the day and a more expensive one such as Huggies or Pampers at night...

good luck...

I don't know if you have a Costco membership or not, but if you do, get there brand of diapers (Kirkland). They are the best diapers hands down, and like the Target brand, they are MUCH cheaper in cost. The quality is suberb. My 10 month old baby boy used to leak (especially at night) in Huggies, Pampers, everything. Since I've switched to the Costco brand, we've had NO problems. If you aren't a member, befriend someone who is and get them to buy them for you (then pay them back!). ;)

I like Wal-mart's Parent's Choice brand. I have twin 11 month olds: a boy and a girl, and I haven't had any of the problems with them that I had with Pampers and Huggies. They are also cheaper which is a big plus. For a super mega-pack (80 diapers) it costs around $6.00.

You could probably try using LUV's or Pampers those are the other best products they have. Oh you could always try using the Wal-Mart Brand I think its called White Cloud. But I love the huggies brand baby wipes especially the Shea Butter one..
Good Luck

The same thing happens to my baby. Pampers Swaddlers are great. I don't know how old your baby is though, Swaddlers go to size 2 only. Huggies Supreme is slightly better than the Baby Shaped Diapers. Have you tried those?

I had the same problem with Huggies and Luvs. I tried Pampers Swadlers. They conform better to the skin. They had stretchy sides. They are a little more expensive than the others, but coupons are easy to find. Of course when they work better you don't have to use as many and wash as many clothes.

Let me tell you, with my first baby I used Huggies. I had the same problem you do. I wanted the best for her but just because it cost more don't make it the best. Well I went to LUVS. They have blues clues on them. I had another baby and I wasnt so picky. I went stright to LUVS. They are cheap and the BEST on leaks. Try them you will like them, I am sure of it. You can get them at wal-mart.

Pampers! 100% Satisfied.

If you call Huggies 800 # on the package and tell them what you're experienceing with their product, they will offer to send you coupons for other Huggie products. They don't like to lose business.

when my twins were newborn i really liked the swaddlers. it seemed like when they were tiny they had problems with peeing through everything and the swaddlers helped. make sure you are using the right size of diaper. my twins are now 1yr old. they are 20lbs. a piece and are wearing huggies gigglastics #3. (i don't like the supremes, they don't move as well!) those seem to work perfect right now. (just to give you a gauge!)
good luck, everyone has their own opinion about their favorite diapers!!!!
