The Bolshevik Revolution ended years of tyrannical rule by the Czars. The Bolsheviks, however, were communists and replaced the tyranny of the Czars with their on murderous thugs like Stalin and Kreushev.

The mensheviks were more socialists than communists. Whent eh Bolsheviks defeated the Mensheviks, it set the USSR on teh track to teh true authoritarian state instead of something with Sweden as its goal.
