I am going to start a buisness, and not have set rules for how people can look. Then later on, after getting some customers, I am going to impose a new appearance standard. It will require females to have short hair, and males to have long hair. It will allow males to wear earings, but not females. Males who don't have longhair, will have the option of getting hair extensions put in, at no expense to them. ( I really am a nice guy ) And, as part of my benifits package, I will only extend it to gay couples. And then wait to see what happens when I get sued.

allright, the marriege thing is a bit excessive. But the EEOC says as long as you have equal burdens on each gender, it's ok. And the higher courts have shot down attempts to make it so buisnesses couldn't have dress standards prohibiting males from having long hair, they said that isn't what the law was written for.

If you employ less than 10 people, you can legally have any requirements you choose, however bizarre. However, if you employ more than 10 people you have to observe the regulations of the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), and the Title VII protections afforded to race, crede, religion, sex, age, etc. You will not be able to legally discriminate based on sexual preference, even if it is discrimination against heterosexuals. You'll get sued and lose the value of your capital investements.

I'm a female with short hair. It grows so fast and the haircuts get expensive. If I can have an expense account for my haircuts, I'll come work for you.
I'm assuming you were being sarcastic and trying to make a point. If you were...thanks for the laugh...your point was well taken
If you were serious...ummmm...good luck.

For goodness sake, all and sundry with a innovations knows you do no longer smoke at artwork. it is okay whilst you're on a smash and out of doors faraway from the shop yet no longer instore. Plus the smoke gets into the products and makes them scent dreadful.

If you can have a business like that, more power to you. I don't know what kind of business lends itself to those kind of standards, but its your business and if it goes down in flames you have no one to blame but yourself.
