William Wallace lived in Ettrick Forest,Scottish Borders,he had a wife called Marion, who was killed by the Sheriff of Lanark, who was subsequently killed by Wallace(1292)which made him an outlaw, and
he then became a national hero, who had paved the way for Robert the Bruce to eventually drive the English from Scotland(1320)Robin Hood's name first appears about 100years later in stories, which became Legend.Bin Laden on the other hand is as real
as William Wallace was!

No they will be remembered as Cowards, and murderers, because that's what they are, and you should spend a little time reading up on Robin Hood, and his Merry men, because legend has it he took from the rich and gave to the poor, he did not go round killing women, and children like that scum bag Bin Laden, and his men took on the Sheriff's men, man to man, but there again you can't call Bin Laden a man can you.

if robin hood existed, and we do not know for sure.he was a man that stood up for injustices.when Richard 111 brother john was on the thrown.while Richard was away with the crusaders.john persecuted the English peasants by hiking up taxes and things like that.robin robbed these noblemen and gave the money back to the poor.bin laden is just a murdering cowardly thug hiding in holes like the reptile he is.bidding others to martyr themselves and kill innocent men women and children because he does not have the balls to do it himself.do you really think you should mention both one a man the other a rat.in the same sentence.some one has mentioned william wallace here.well bin laden should suffer wallaces fate when caught.hung drawn and quartered in public.thats how you treat scum like that.

It is sad to say that Bin Laden and his followers, martyrs, etc are already the stuff of legend for many young people brought up in some fringes of radical Islam. What you have to remember is that we only tend to retain legends that are relevent to our own time and social-political context. People still talk about Robin Hood nowadays because they relate to the purported ideals that he represents to us. The big question is how relevant will the legend of Ossama Bin Laden be to people in 600 years time... And what shape will his legend have taken by then.

once upon a time in History there was a dictator named bin laden. He had many troops, teaching hatred of the United States. This was in the time of 9/11 as well. He was a poor representative for his cause because he was a coward hiding out in mountains and caves. He and his troops hid behind beards etc. in hopes to disguise themselves. They did for awhile then...............

osama's a coward. In a few years when i'm a marine, i hope i get to hunt him down and kill him myself. he sends a couple of his followers to go and die to kill thousands and thinks he's tough ****. now he's probably hiding in some cave. and it's interesting to think, if leaders in war ever did the fighting themselves, the wars would be so much shorter. America would still win though.

ha ha, wouldn't it be funny if instead of in a cave osama was on daytona beach in a speedo with a camel, just no one recognizes him cause he's clean shaven and wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses. ha ha ha.
