You have to ask if it was the right decision ? The bombing potentially saved millions of lives on both sides. The Japanese were prepared to fight to the last man and those two bombs convinced the Emperor to surrender.

He didn't have the atomic bomb dropped on japan to avoid an invasion. Well, he sort of did. He did it to keep the Soviets from invading northern Japan.
There's no wartime evidence to suggest there would be massive losses that would justify the mass murder (and that's what it was) of 200,000 Japanese civilians. And since when did massive losses matter? Look at the assaults on Okinawa, Iwo Jima, and Guadalcanal.

Yes, since it was the best choice to quickly end the war without alot of losses on our side ( remember in war the enemy dos get killed)

yes...the japanese attacked first,americans had to defend their country and it is freedom or death after all...note that i have never been in the usa...
