You can take the horse to stream but cant make him drink water! Only if a person has a desire, the person will get motivated. May be the person has lower self esteem. Suggested to work towards it. It will give long term results.

To bring more money to who or what? And perhaps the answer is NOT trying to motivate a person who is (your words) 'comfortable with her lifestyle'. Ambition is in the eyes of the beholder!

Maybe you are not saying exactly what do you mean with that question.

I don't understand when you say that person is comfortable, why do you want to motivate Her to bring more money?

Maybe if we know what's the point for that, we would give you a better answer.

Just with the information you are giving, i would say, liveher alone, if she is comfortable, why would she change it?

You can't change a person...just love them for who they are. It can be difficult, but you have to try. I know this from experience. My significant other went for over 2 years without a job while I worked. It used to really bother me, especially when I came home and nothing was done around the house and he was watching tv or playing video games. He finally came around and got a job. Just be patient. If you don't love the person enough to deal w/ it...it may be a sign you need to move on.

You sound more like a "pimp" and the other is your prostitute!
motivate her to BRING more money? Maybe we should be talking to the girl on how to chose better friends who really care about HER instead of giving you advice on your greed and control issues.

Easy, the answer is built-in to your question "is comfortable with her lifestyle". Teach her to be greedy and envy. Envy of friend who have more or neighbors. Perhaps force her to enjoy luxuries that are outside of her current economic means. Find friends of wealth with whom she could socialize and plant a seed in her mind. You will have to be suble and essentially evil to succeed in this endevor. ********* I don't think you should try to change her, it is rare that someone is happy with who she is and where she is, this will change her forever and she may learn to well and never again be happy. But hey, that's your call.

As long as it is your goal,
nothing could be achieved.
The moment she sets her
goal with clarity and confidence
nothing stops her.You or no one
needs to motivate.Motivation comes
from inside.Create thirsty/need for
achievement/good lifestyle,money or
whatever you mention, it works like a
dynamite. Teach her the triggering part
when it requires.

If this person is comfortable with her life, but out. It's none of your business. Be happy that she's happy with her life. There aren't a lot of people like that.
