IT'S A MATTER OF PRIDE, THEY ARE ASHAMED THEY MADE A MISTAKE BY VOTING FOR HIM, BUT THEY ARE ASHAMED TO ADMIT THEY MADE A MISTAKE. SO THEY DEFEND HIS CRIMES AND INCOMPETANCE ON A DAILY BASIS TO COVER FOR THEIR OWN SHAME.
I'D HATE TO BE A NEOCON AND BE IN SUCH A POSITION.

The question you should be asking yourself is why do YOU support a party that wants America to to be defeated in the war on terror, simply because they think it will benefit them politically?
Bush is a leader...he doesn't give a rat's rear end on what some stupid poll says...
That's also the reason Bill Clinton was so amazingly indecisive in dealing with the terror threat... he was too worried about his current poll numbers...and as Dick Morris says, he was paralyzed with fear about making a wrong decision... the result being, he made no decisions at all, depsite one terrorist attack after another on American's at home and abroad during his two terms in office.
The only polls that count are the ones taken on election day. Clinton was (supposedly) close to 70% approval for much of his Presidency, if you believe the networks' reporting of these polls... yet, that never translated to even a 50% share of the popular vote for him in either one of his election wins.
Polls mean nothing.
The same people in Washington and the mainstream media who ridiculed his (Bush's) "axis of evil" line, now are demanding to know what he intends to do about Iran and North Korea, the other two members of that 'axis'.... come on, people, I thought there WAS no threat out there...
They're still finding mass graves in Iraq every time you turn around (some of which have been reported on the news).
Bush is decisive. And he doesn't wait for the U.N. to take action when there's a threat (because the U.N. is the most useless orgainization EVER created). He takes it upon himself to get the job done.
The other question you need to ask is why YOU support a party which is HOPING and PRAYING (so far as liberals 'pray") that we get hit with another terrorist attack while Bush is still in office?
And don't you love these liberals like Al Franken who go around asking "oh, why couldn't we have been attacked when Clinton was in office, so HE could have shown the world how great HE is?"
Guess what? We WERE attacked when Clinton was in office...time and time again... Clinton did nothing (Clinton's inaction did more to recruit and embolden terrorists than anything Bush has done or not done).

Seriously I am a moderate because i could care less one way or another but i have my likings about Bush. I like some aspects of bush, like that he put a foot in the terrorists asses! What were supose to do let them attack us and do nothin? Let our country be ran down by kamakazi jackasses who think taking there lives and millions of others will bring down our country? Yea ******* right we are America! We are the word and if your word about Bush wasnt heard then sorry. But Bush may not be the best president ever but he has helped our country through alot. He may have made some bad decisions but who doesnt? He may have not thought things through entirely but it happens! He has many good points and many bad, but he is our president and people should respect that

Because the Senate makes me sick! Greedy selfish horse's butts. And they held up the child praetor law for 2 years because they wanted to add their own agenda too it. Guess they care for perverts more than kids. Oil -during Clinton-he let the 5 major oil companies buy the others out-approved by the Senate. Now they hold power. Amnesty bill is a joke with no real solutions. The list goes on and on. It is not like Miss America where I have 50 to choose from. My choices are few.

Well, he made a strong response to the 9/11 attacks. He is pro-business and in favor of lower taxes. He has reduced government employment, though I wish he had not expanded certain government programs. There hasn't been another terrorist attack on our soil.
I think Jimmy Carter was a worse president (discussing recent ones).

He lowered my Taxes. He has defended the country. He got the Taliban kicked out of Afghanistan and they held elections for the first time in their history. He's captured or killed 2/3s of Al Qaeda.
Libya has given up it weapons off mass destruction in light of the Iraq war and their subsequent elections. Syria was forced to leave Lebanon when the people there wanted to hold their own elections. Saddam was captured. His evil sons were killed. He brought us out of a recession after 911. And last but not least..he's a man that respects the office of the President. He's not messing around on his wife with some kid in a back room. Oh I forgot...he gave me two conservative supreme court judges. And now he's gotten Zarqawi. Warm up the Virgins.. he's comin home.

Good question, I would also like to know. I'm guessing all you'll get is that "he was the best of two evils" but I'll be lookin...
or maybe they don't even know and won't answer.. huh..
tweety: I'm confused on your answer.. Are you saying you'd rather have an elected King than a president? Aren't polls a way for the public to let the prez know what they want? I would think that listening to polls would be sorta like listening to your people..

Because he sticks with his beliefs and convictions, unlike past Presidents, especially the most recent past President, who changed his direction whenever a new poll was released and who put symbolism over substance, every time.

I would like to see an issue based opinion on the issue, because I don't know if I've ever heard one... not "he's a moral man" or "he didn't flip-flop"... those are not issues... not that those other things aren't important, but I would like to hear some issues...

I like him because he tells it like it is. He goes with his convictions. He doesn't worry about how it looks. He just gets the job done. He's got a backbone. (And thank you for no personal attacks, but actual discussion.)
