Well, thats life. Obviously you dont mean as much to him as he does to you. One of the disadvantages to having a best friend who's a man. It's not right, no. But thats how it works. Put yourself in her situation. Say you get a new boyfriend who's best bud is a really pretty female. You gotta admit you'd be jealous if he spent a lot of time with her...right? Either wait around for them to break up or find yourself a new best friend, sounds to me like he doesnt value your friendship all that much anyway. Good luck.

Let him know how this makes you feel. There's a good chance he's completely unaware that he's doing this to you. Another reason why he pushes you away is that his gf might feel uncomfortable with the two of you hanging out. SHe might not know it's pure friendship. Tell him all this and tell him to reassure his girlfriend that you two are just friends. and will always be so. Good luck!

Because you aren't the girlfriend. There are certain perks that come with being the girlfriend. I bet if you got a boyfriend he wouldn't try to hang out with you. You need to let him go and find you someone that wants to be your boyfriend not your best friend.

Because sometimes females are insecure NOT ALL just some and i think he is being respectful to the person he is with at that time you wouldnt spend all of your time with him if your had a bf would you? No why because it would hurt the relationship its about respect. Maybe you guys could become more than friends who knows him better than YOU and you would never hurt him and vice versa THINK ABOUT IT and then you would have to worry about borrowed time.

If he pushes you aside, then when you get a bf push him aside and let him see how it feels. Or just talk to him about it.

I think it is normal cause we are trying to find out who we are and find that perfect someone to spend the rest of our lives with. Friendship is important....but family is even more important. He is just trying to figure out who he is. I bet you will do the same when you have a boyfriend.

Well, your best friend is only a guy, after all. Guys are ridden with hormones, and he just can't help it.......lol........After his hormones calm down, he will be calling his best friend again.
